A combination of hand-hammered, balanced silver components gives these amethyst earrings sinuous movement. The amethysts are deeply colored and natural, with a satisfying plumpness. Designed and entirely handmade by me in my Connecticut studio. These earrings are long and dramatic--on me, they reach almost to the shoulder--but lightweight and easy to wear.
Argentium sterling silver is tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic, and durable. It contains more pure silver than regular sterling (94% vs. 92.5%), and the silver content is 100% recycled.
