As a child of the '80s, I was subjected to a lot of traumatizing children's entertainment. One of the movies that messed me up was The NeverEnding Story. Everyone talks about the horse sinking into the muck, and that's definitely sad, but this ring is inspired by another character whose death still makes me tear up: the Rock Biter. Both his rough skin and favorite food are evoked in this ring's rough exterior--and his soft heart is there in the ring's utterly comfortable fit.
