Handmade jewelry is always special, but handmade jewelry in solid gold is even more special. I made this ring entirely by hand in my studio in Clinton, Connecticut. It is solid 14 karat gold throughout. The band has a light, subtle hammered texture. It is a U.S. size 7. The size can be increased slightly at no charge.
Did you know that sapphires come in every color except red? (Why not red? When they are red, we call them rubies!) This sapphire is an unheated beauty with fascinating color zoning (areas of different colors). You can see these most clearly in the video, although they are fairly well represented in the first photo. I see orange, yellow, pink, purple, and plum. The stone is an oval cut and measures approximately 6mm by 4mm.
