Entirely handmade by me in my Connecticut studio, these earrings were shaped by the process of hammering. As the hammer compresses the metal, it stretches in all directions, widening the place where the hammer struck and making the metal curve. Shaping curves in this way creates the most natural forms.
Argentium sterling silver is hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant, and durable. It contains more pure silver than regular sterling (94% vs. 92.5%) and contains no nickel.
