Entirely one of a kind, designed and handmade by me in my Connecticut studio. Symmetrical and natural at the same time, this pendant combines the balance of an abstract design with the evocativeness of a design based on a living thing. The ancient ginkgo is one of my favorite trees, traditionally signifying health, resilience, and long life. I've always loved the nature-inspired jewelry of the art nouveau and arts and crafts movements. This pendant reminds me of an art nouveau design, but in a minimal key. Polished to a mirror finish and perfect for everyday.
Argentium sterling silver has a high pure silver content (94%, vs. 92.5% for ordinary sterling). The silver is 100% recycled. Argentium is tarnish-resistant due to a patented hypoallergenic formula. It finishes hard and is as suitable for everyday wear as platinum or white gold.
