The sinuous abstract shape of this high domed ring shimmers with energy. All of the different lines converge in the point to one side and balance across the knife-edge profile of the bottom. A mirror finish makes this a major statement.
The ring was made using the ancient technique of lost-wax casting. Only one model was made, and it was destroyed as part of the casting process. Hand-carved by me in my Connecticut studio, this ring is one of a kind. There will never be another one just like it. Since it is cast, the ring is solid, not hollow.
Argentium sterling silver is a tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic, nickel-free metal. It contains more pure silver than regular sterling (94% vs. 92.5%), and it is entirely recycled.
