The Fiber Artist's Locket includes three practical tools for the embroiderer, quilter, knitter, tailor, or other fiber artist in your life. (Maybe that's you!) The tools are: a thread cutter, a needle threader, and a magnetic needle minder. The thread cutter and the needle threader are designed to be used with the locket closed, minimizing fumbling. The magnetic needle minder comes in two parts that can be placed on either side of a piece held in a quilting or embroidering frame, or they can be set aside in a convenient place. The copper has a subtle natural patina covered with a sealant so that the patina will not come off on clothing. The 30-inch chain is lightweight anodized aluminum. Shorter or longer chains can be substituted on request.
The needle threader is a standard needle threader and can be easily replaced as needed. The stainless-steel blade for the thread cutter is also replaceable with any 30mm rotary cutter blade.
