Handmade and utterly unique, these garnet earrings were designed and fabricated entirely by me in my Connecticut studio. Garnet is the birthstone for January, but few people know that garnets come in many colors in addition to the classic dark red. These rhodolite garnets are a good example: pinkish-red, almost the color of pomegranate seeds. Post earrings in argentium sterling silver with 24 karat gold inlay and gem-quality pinkish-red rhodolite garnet drops. A subtle statement piece or an accent for everyday wear. The garnets are truly exceptional, smooth and unfaceted and remarkably clear. The teardrop/marquise shape of the earring subtly echoes the curve of the face.
